There are two ways to reach the island of Crete:

BY PLANE: There are two international airports on the island: in Chania and in Heraklion.

BY BOAT: From Piraeus port, daily departures to Souda port of Chania, or to the port of Heraklion.

DISTANCES

Chania Airport: 49 km (45 min. drive to Kavros village).

Souda Port of Chania: 34.5 km (20 min. drive to Kavros village ).

Heraklion Port or Airport: 101km (70 min. drive to Kavros village).

From Chania airport or Souda port: Follow the signs to the highway in the direction of Rethymnon. Take the highway. Upon reaching Georgioupolis exit, decrease your speed. After 5 km you will reach the tourist village of Kavros. At the second exit (at the Silk oil station) turn slowly right and immediately turn left at the oil station and follow the parallel road to the high way, by pass the bridge passage and follow this road for hundred meters. Signs will guide you to Palladion Hotel

From the airport or harbour of Heraklion: Follow the signs to the highway in the direction of Rethymnon – Chania. Take the highway. Pass all the exits to Rethymnon and continue, headed in the direction Chania. After the exit to Episkopi, decrease your speed. 4 km later, on your right-hand side, you will see a sign marking the end of Rethymnon prefecture. 2 km later you will reach the tourist village of Kavros. Keep your eyes on your left-hand side. The first exit is at the Silk Petrol Station, there turn very carefully left to enter Kavros and immediately turn left again at the oil station and follow the parallel road to the high way, by pass the bridge passage and follow this road for hundred meters. Signs will guide you to Palladion Hotel.
